1.- What is the difference between protecting and preserving a rainforest??
The protection of a tropical rainforest only bans the use of the area for other purposes, such as timber extraction, agriculture, cattle raising, coal production, etc. The ways of protecting it include national and regional legislation on PNAs (Protected Natural Areas). They can also be protected through the “PRIVATE PROPERTY”. To preserve rainforests it is necessary to have resources available for preserving it in time in the perfect conditions.
2.- What are the advantages of protecting it through the private property?
“PRIVATE PROPERTY” will make it possible to protect the area permanently even when some areas are no longer protected because of a political decision.
3.- Why is it important to protect rainforests?
Tropical forests, especially rainforests, are unscrupulously depredated by the human beings. Every 10 seconds a hectare of forest may disappear. The consequences of these inhuman and irresponsible activities accelerate climatic change, producing 20% of the world pollution only in forest burning, besides generating floods in nearby populations. If we do not stop these practices, 30% of the oxygen we breathe will disappear.
4.- Why is it important to join this challenging and enterprising campaign?
Because we are also part of the damage to our ecosystem and environment, in the city with vehicles, wasting electric power, not recycling, as well as allowing irresponsible people to operate freely to their own benefit in a selfish way.
5.- Why is project “SO2S” carrying out this task?
The world is not being used properly by human beings. Only 7% of rainforests worldwide can be protected by national legislation. The remaining 93% is helpless against human predation. The motivation of “SO2S” is to offer our children a safe and prosperous world to live.

You can be part of “SO2S” community by buying your oxyholder. In this way, you will be able to protect and preserve rainforests.
An Oxyiholder is a certificate of title of the oxygen generated by the number of square metres of rainforest you are protecting and preserving. You may have your oxiholder from a dollar per square metre.
9.- will the money from buying “Oxyholders” go?
The money contributed to “SO2S” will be used to buy more forest area with the only purpose of preserving them.

Your Oxyholder will last forever and can be inherited.
11.- What is the lodge in the protected rainforest like?
The lodge is a fully ecological hotel located in the forest you are protecting in order to finance its preservation. You will find there a place totally different to your habitat, which will connect you to flora and fauna from the Amazon rainforest. No element here will damage the environment and the energy will be produced in the lodge.
12.- Can anybody make a reservation in the lodge?
Only people belonging to the “SO2S” community will be able to make reservations in the lodge.
13.- How will the rainforest be preserved?
Forest preservation requires a fixed amount of economic resources per year. For this purpose, three fund raising modalities have been created that will be used simultaneously:
Income from the lodge.
Income from the rights of use of the brand “Gaia Dreams”.
Income from the sale of carbon bonds for “avoiding deforestation” in the voluntary market.
14.- What does “Gaia Dreams” mean?
Companies, institutions or shows, cultural or sport events may be acknowledged as “responsible with the environment” buying a certain amount of Oxyholders. “Gaia Dreams” will grant them the logo “Environmentally Responsible Company.
“SO2S” is the name of the community where all members protect and preserve rainforests; the NGO responsible for developing this project is called “GAIA DREAMS” for the goddess of nature.
